Art 1 final portfolio

1. The cartoon skeleton was my favorite and most seccessful peice of art work i have done this year.  The cartoon skeleton is my favorite peice of art work because it was challenging and kind of complicated but over all it was a very fun project.  I like this project because it let us be creative and it let us make alot of our own choices.  I also liked thisproject because i am good at drawing cartoon charecters and fake charecters.  I think this drawing was most sucessful because it looks good and it looks exactly like the real charecter in monsters ink. just without skin. I do recomend this project for future classes and i hope they like it as much as i did.

 2.  The contour line shoe drawing was not one of my favorites it was actually my least favorite.  allthough i did not really like this project it tought me alot of importants things that i needed to know about art.  This project tought me things like shapes and lines and new ways to draw. this project was hard because we couldnt pick up our pencils since we couldnt pick up our pencils it tought me alot of technics and tricks about art.  It tought me that you can make a good peice of artwork without picking up your pencil.  This project also tought me new styles and new ways of drawing. I would not like to do this project again beacuse it was so challenging and difficult.  this project also tought me a little prospective and 3d drawing.  And the last thing it tought me is art isnt just painting and drawing with pencils it tought me that there are alot of different ways to make art and contour drawing is one of them.

3. I chose the stincil project for number three because it helped improve my spray painting skills.  I say it helped improve my spray painting skills because i did a spray painting project in eight grade and i used alot of techniques that i learned in eighth grade.  in eight grade we did allmost the same project but with animals and in eighth grade i learned how copy the stencils and cut them out.  this project was pretty much practice from things i allready knew how to do.  It improved me as an artist by teaching me not to be scared to try new things like the colors and the picture i picked were kind of strange .  this project gave me more courage and bravery to do new things and thats because i allready new how to do it so this project was no challenge for me.  i liked this project and i wouldnt mind doing it again.

4. The print project in my opion was the least important it really dident teach me much.  I think this project was the least important because it was to easy and simple all we had to do was draw a picture and stamp it on to paper.  This project was not challenging enough.  The print project didnt really teach me anything about art all it toght me was things about ink and linoliom.  It did not teach me anything about lines and shapes.  it didnt teach me anything about shading and perspective.  I would not recomend this project for future classes or any body else . this project was to easy and tought me nothing.  Thats why the print project is my least favorite. sorry ms. rossi.

5.I choose the landscape painting for qustion five because i think this painting reflects my personality.  the reason i think it reflects me is because it is very bright and out of the ordinary.  I donot reaklly have a personal connection to this but when i get older i hope i have a cool house like this one.  I also beleive this painting reflects me because it is not in the us and one day i hope to move out of the us. Once i move i hope to have a home like this one.  I also really like this house because of the trees and the plants all over it.  I think if i have a home like this one it will make me very happy and comfratable.  and the last reason i choose to paint this house id because it is blue and blue is my favorite color.  I love this house and i think it really reflects me as a person.
